The Center by the Blackstone is announcing that the
Visitor Center facility is available for rental to
businesses and organizations seeking meeting,
conference and special event space. This unique and
trendy multifunctional venue provides a spacious
interior with a gallery, state-of-the-art theatre
that is complete with video screen and multi-media
capabilities. It boasts a beautiful interior design
with ample parking and a close proximity to Slater
Mill on the banks of the Blackstone River. The
centerpiece of this venue is a 90 seat theater,
complete with stage, screen and projector, which are
ideal for use by businesses and organizations for
such functions including: meetings, marketing and
sales presentations, public hearings, hosting
special event gatherings and other related
functions.
Amenities feature an open floor lobby complete with
a walkable map of the Blackstone River Valley and
interpretation walls telling the story of the
development of the American Industrial Revolution
and its impact upon Southern New England and the US.
Proceeds from the rentals of The Center by the
Blackstone will benefit the ongoing operations of
the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center in supporting
its mission in serving as a prime visitor, traveler
and intermodal gateway supporting the businesses,
heritage, cultural, social and transportation needs
of the Blackstone River Valley.
